Winter Notices February 19, 2025 The Oneida County Sheriff's Office reminds the public that a travel advisory is in effect for Oneida County. Unnecessary travel is not permitted until further notice. This includes the Town of Lee. ALL Town Hall offices will be closed tonight, Wed, 2/19. The Town Highway Department would like to thank the residents for their patience during these winter storms. We all understand the frustration with the amount of snow we have received. We are doing the best we can under the circumstances we are working with. The Town Clerk's office has received numerous calls for help with private snow removal. If you are a local snow removal service, please email townclerk@townofleeny.org or drop off your business card (in the lockbox-left side) at the Town Hall, 5808 Stokes-Lee Center Rd. Stay warm and safe and know there are only 28 more days until Spring.
Septic System Replacement Funds September 19, 2024 Oneida County has been identified by New York State as being in a priority geographic area where there is need to reduce the impact of sewage effluent from cesspools and septic systems on groundwater and surface water. New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation has provided funding of $200,000 to Oneida County for the mitigation of properties located in priority areas. These properties will be eligible to receive septic system repair or replacement funding.

Can I Recycle That? Please check with Oneida Herkimer Solid Waste Authority - ohswa.org July 20, 2022 Have you ever had an item in your hand and asked yourself "Can I Recycle That?" Although recycling is more commonplace today, it can feel confusing because we are inundated with so many different types of materials and packaging. Additionally, different materials might be accepted for recycling based on where you live, if you have a recycling hauler, who that hauler is, and if special recycling instructions exist for the material.
