The regular meeting of the Lee Town Board was held in the Town Hall, and was called to order at 7:30 PM.

 

Present were:  Supervisor John Urtz, Councilmen Alan Trombley, Karl Matt and Harold VanWagenen.

 

Absent:  Councilman Kevin Gallagher, Highway Superintendant Bill Baker and Town Attorney, David Rapke.

 

The meeting opened with the pledge of allegiance.

 

A motion was made by Alan Trombley, seconded by Karl Matt and carried to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting.

Supervisor Urtz announced that Mickey Dietrich came to give his presentation on GIS mapping; Town Departments will be given a questionnaire to assess their needs in order to determine what equipment to purchase.

 

Supervisor Urtz reported to Board members that a card was received from resident Maryanne Gray complimenting Kristopher Griffin for his work ethic at the Lee Town Park.  Kris works for Hillside Seasonal and does a good job cleaning up the park.  A motion was made by Karl Matt, seconded by Alan Trombley and carried to send a thank you card to Kris for a job well done.

Supervisor Urtz reported that he was informed that the perpetrators who are believed to have broken into the Town Hall a few months ago have been caught. 

 

Mr. Urtz also stated that law enforcement notified him that some damage was done at the Camp Sarah Agnes Stevens on Turin Rd. and the people have been apprehended; it is believed these may be the same people who did the damage to the Lee Town Park bathrooms in October.

 

Councilman Matt stated that the parking lot at the Town Park and the new handicap ramp look excellent.

 

Supervisor Urtz made some announcements:

 

  • Comprehensive Water Plan has been provided to Board Members
  • Tax Collector hours for Thursdays are changing in 2015 from 4-6pm to 12-2pm.
  • BAR member is typically appointed at October meeting - still vacant.
  • Assemblyman Marc Butler will be attending December's Board Meeting to hear concerns or issues in our Township.

 

 

A motion was made by Karl Matt, seconded by Alan Trombley and carried to approve and pay the bills.

General     -       $     33,328.99

                                         Highway    -       $     20,283.40

                                         Water        -      $       5,334.28

 

A motion was made by Karl Matt, seconded by John Urtz and carried to adjourn.
