The Lee Town Board held a Special Meeting in the Lee Town Hall to open bids for the position of Park Custodian for the 2013 season.

 

Present were:  Supervisor John Urtz, Councilmen Alan Trombley, Patrick Hetherington and Karl Matt.

 

The meeting was called to order at 5:31 PM.

 

One sealed bid for $6400.00 was received by:

 

            Donna Winn Contract Cleaners

            9532 Point Rock Road, Taberg

 

Board members discussed this and a MOTION was made by Kevin Gallagher, seconded by Patrick Hetherington, which was CARRIED to hire Donna Winn Contract Cleaners for the 2013 season, beginning 4/01/13 and ending 10/31/13, contingent upon Mrs. Winn supplying a Certificate of Liability Insurance according to the specifications in the advertisement.

A motion was made by Alan Trombley, seconded by Karl Matt and CARRIED to adjourn.

Lee Town Park Custodial Duties

 

 

 

Location:  Lee Town Park located on Turin Rd in the Town of Lee

Term:  April 1 through October 31. 

 

 

Specific Requirements:

•1.    Unlock front gate daily at 6:00 am and lock front gate nightly at dark.

•2.    Unlock and lock bathrooms daily

•3.    Empty garbage receptacles throughout the park as required

•4.    Replenish dog waste bag receptacles as required

•5.    Meet point of contact of pavilion reservations prior to use to discuss terms of use, open bathrooms and post applicable permits

•6.    Restock bathroom supplies including soap, toilet paper and paper towels as required.

•7.    Clean all bathrooms utilizing own cleaning supplies and implements as required

•8.    Install, remove and store tennis court nets at beginning and end of each season

•9.    Post advertisement on park entrance marque sign as directed by Town Clerk

•10.  Report any physical damage to park equipment or structures to the town board within 24 hours

Insurance Requirements

 

Proposer shall provide proof of general liability and property damage insurance and workers' compensation insurance naming the Town of Lee as additional insured; the amounts of such insurance shall be as follows: General liability insurance in an amount not less than $500,000.00 for injuries, including wrongful death to any one person and subject to the same limit for each person, in an amount not less than $1,000,000.00 on account of any one occurrence, 2,000,000.00 aggregate.  Property damage insurance in an amount not less than $300,000.00 for damage on account of all occurrences.
