Assessor Patty Box has relayed that she would like to switch her Wednesday evening hours to Tuesday evenings for the months of May and June.  The Codes and Zoning departments would also switch.  There was discussion amongst the Board members and they feel our residents are accustomed to Wednesday evenings and are not in favor of changing.  The appointed positions of Codes and Zoning will continue with Wednesday hours.  The Assessor is an elected position and the Board does not dictate their hours, but express that they are not in favor of the temporary change.

A motion was made by Karl Matt, seconded by Patrick Hetherington and CARRIED to accept Local Law No. 2 of 2012:  "providing for the establishment of alternate Zoning Board of Appeals member positions and alternate Planning Board member positions and conditions under which same are entitle to act."

Councilman Kevin Gallagher announced he would like to have a Fall Cleanup Day, rather than in the spring.  This will be for white goods, tires etc.  Mr. Gallagher states he is hoping to have the Great American Cleanup Day scheduled to begin in May.

Councilman Patrick Hetherington once again asked the other Board members if the tree that is blocking the American Flag at the Town Park could be cut down.  The flag cannot be seen by those pledging the allegiance.  Board members discussed making sure it wasn't a tree that was dedicated to someone, but no decision was made at this time.

Mr. Hetherington suggests moving the porta-potty that is now at the Town Park be moved to the north end of the park where it is a distance from the other facilities.  Board members thought this was a good idea.
