A Special Meeting to open bids for asphalt for the 2012 season was held in the Town Hall, and was called to order at 6:33 PM.

 

Present were:  Supervisor John Urtz, Councilmen, Alan Trombley, Karl Matt, Kevin Gallagher and Patrick Hetherington.

 

Also present was Town Attorney, David Rapke and Highway Superintendent, Bill Baker.

 

Bid Opening:  "Approximately 3500 tons Item 403.13(A), Type 3, Modified Binder Asphalt concrete, Bituminous Paving" "bidders may submit an alternate bid based on a fluctuating price tied to an identifiable benchmark"

A motion was made by Kevin Gallagher, seconded by Karl Matt and CARRIED to accept the fixed bid of 63.74/unit submitted by Dolomite.

                        Kevin Gallagher - Aye              Pat Hetherington - Aye

A motion was made by Kevin Gallagher, seconded by Alan Trombley and CARRIED to adjourn.  All in favor.  Special Meeting adjourned at 6:55 PM.
