The Lee Town Board met for a Special Meeting to discuss the plans for the new highway garage cold storage building.

 

Meeting began at:  5:07 PM

Present were:  Supervisor John Urtz, Councilmen Patrick Hetherington, Kevin Gallagher, Alan Trombley and Karl Matt.

 

Also present:  Highway Superintendant Bill Baker and engineer Tim Hogan.

 

Tim Hogan of Hogan Engineering, Rome discussed and reviewed with those present some minor changes in the plans for the storage building compared to what was presented last year.  Mr. Hogan anticipates if bidder is chosen in March, the project should be complete mid to end July 2012. 

 

A motion was made by Alan Trombley, seconded by Karl Matt and CARRIED to approve the drawings and go to bid for the construction of a cold storage building at the Town Highway Dept.  An alternate bid including radiant floor heating will also be included.  Bids scheduled to be opened March 13, 2012 at a Special Meeting at 6:00 PM.

 

A motion was made by Karl Matt, seconded by Kevin Gallagher and CARRIED to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned at 6:00 PM
